Program of the workshop

Sept 11th:
Morning: Shuttles from the airports. Welcome to Rencurel. Computers check.

2 pm: Beginning of the workshop
2-4 pm: overview/status of previous studies presented by 'task' leaders. Open questions.
Each talk should be 15 min+questions/comments.
Here is list of presentation and possible speakers (tell me if you disagree).
These talks may be based on existing documentation gathered at:
1- ESS Reports

2- Papers (McStas/Vitess simulations)

Request: If possible, these talks should be complemented by 'status' web pages to appear in
<http://www.ill.fr/Computing/ESS-LP/models/models.html> before the meeting.

4:30-6 pm: task definition.
Further studies w/r to previous talks should be discussed.
Identifying relevant parameters.
Draft minutes per task.

Evening: open session
(simulations running for the night, etc...)

Sept 12th:
9-9:30 am: Planning session for the day, based on the Sept 11th discussions.
9:30-12 am: Splitting into groups of 4-5 members per task
    Scanning possible designs and estimating characteristics

2-2:30 pm: Discussion
about possible open questions encountered during the morning.
2:30-5 pm: Splitting into groups of 4-5 members per task
5:30-6 pm: Achievements of the day. Draft minutes per task.

Evening: open session
(simulations running for the night, etc...)

Sept 13th: (basically same as Sept 12th)
9-10 am: General discussion/comments about results of Sept 12th. Planning session.
10-12 am: Splitting into groups of 4-5 members per task

2-2:30 pm: Discussion about possible open questions encountered during the morning.
2:30-5 pm: Splitting into groups of 4-5 members per task
5:30-6 pm: Achievements of the day. Draft minutes per task.

Evening: open session
(simulations running for the night, etc...)

Sept 14th:
9-9:30 am: Planning session for the day, based on results of the Sept 13th.
9:30-12 am: Splitting into groups of 4-5 members per task

2-3 pm: Status report. Gathering information in order to write Reports (per task).
3-6 pm: Finishing studies. Unsolved questions.

Evening: open session
(simulations running for the night, etc...)

Sept 15th:
9-12 am: Writing of final Reports and Minutes.
12 am: End of the workshop.

Afternoon: Good bye. Shuttles to the airports.
